DAY 3: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE: PINGVELLIR NATIONAL PARK
Take a ride through the countryside to Þingvellir National Park. Situated in a rift valley, Þingvellir marks the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. If you’re bold and brave, you can try scuba diving deep inside the tectonic fissure separating the two continental plates, while simultaneously touching Europe with one hand and North America with the other.
Continue your journey to the geothermal Strokkur Geysur. Erupting as high as 20 meters and as often as 7 to 8 minutes, this natural phenomenon is bound to wow you.
The highlight of the day goes to the uniquely formed Gulfoss waterfall. After taking in the beauty of falling water in a vast landscape, continue on to Hvolsvollur for the night.
Meals: B, D.
Accommodations: Hvolsvollur

DAY 4: SELJALANDSFOSS | SKOGAFOSS | SOLHEIMASANDUR PLANE WRECK | VIK
Visit two of the most iconic waterfalls in all of Iceland: Seljalandsfoss and the massive Skogafoss. Short hikes to each waterfall are refreshing and offer spectacular views. Try and spot the many gulls high up on the cliff’s edge.
After enjoying the waterfalls, you’ll be transferred to a short hike over one of the finest black sand beaches in all of Iceland. At the water’s edge, explore the wrecked DC-3 plane.

Take a short ride along the coast to the ominous canyon: Fjaðrárgljúfur. The jagged rock and misty landscape of this unique canyon give it a surreal and sublime effect.

After attempting to internalize the beauty of blue ice, transfer to Jokullsarlon where you’ll be taken further down the road of awe. Watch the coastal tide manipulate building-size icebergs like play things, as if they didn’t weigh thousands of tons.
Leaving the glacier lagoon, we’ll follow the river that connects to the Atlantic Ocean. On Diamond Beach, you’ll find hundreds of stranded icebergs, standing still on the black sand. After posing with these chunks of ice, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Hof.
