The awesomeness of the Himalayas is hard to describe, but Mt. Everest, prayer flags, yaks, monks, monasteries prayer wheels, glaciers, and mani walls are all elements of the overall experience.
Whether you want to visit Everest for the first time or for the fourth time, there is enough to satisfy. The Everest region is vast and is comprised of some of the most iconic mountains in all of the Himalayas. Everest is one, surely, but there are hundreds of others. Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Makalu, Cho Yo, to name just a few iconic mountains.
If you’re short on time and would like to see Everest with your own eyes, the Everest View Trek is probably a good choice. I getting to base camp is a bucket list item for you, then sign up for the Base Camp Trek, which is a moderate trek. If you’d like to push yourself a little further and longer, then the 3 Passes Trek is for you. If you’re simply looking to experience the remote regions of the Himalayas, Gokyo Lakes Trek is for you.
Whichever trek you choose, you are bound to be happy with your choice. Each trek is powerful in it’s own right.
The rich, historical culture of Tibetan Buddhism can be felt and experience while in the Khumbu region. There is nowhere else in Nepal that you can fully experience the Tibetan Buddhist monastery. This is where the Tibetan monks came to settle after fleeing the persecution found in Tibet.

Elephants, tigers, crocodiles, rhinoceroses, and jungle safaris usually don’t come to mind when thinking about Nepal, but that’s exactly what Nepal offers.
If you’ve ever wanted to ride an elephant during a jungle safari looking for rhinoceroses, and afterwards take a dip in a river while the elephant sprays you with water, then Chitwan National Park is for you.
Take a canoe ride on a crocodile infested river. Search the jungle undergrowth for tigers and leopards from a jeep. Watch brightly colored birds fly from tree to tree.
Chitwan National Park is a must when visiting Nepal. Due to it’s accessibility to Kathmandu it’s an easy ad-on to any of our Nepal trekking options.
